been awhile

sorry i have not kept up with the blog lately - however i will do some updating tomorrow after work as it is getting time for me to get ready for work... got myself my first canner (still haven't used it yet lol), but i will very soon. i'll update my seed lists on the right as well as go through some other things..

I kinda regret removing all of my old posts.. but there's nothing i can do about that now. Anyways, I'll be updating this blog often.

Currently I am getting a new piece of land ready and have like 60 plants that are growing that have recently germinated. I will have over 250 plants in my garden when all is said and done. I plan to donate some veggies to the local food bank that helped me in the past... Afterall, I am not greedy.

Heat mat Thermostat Purchase

I finally got a heat mat and thermostat to help me germinate my seeds indoors..

they didn't have the 20x20 heat mat i wanted, so i got the next one which is 9x19.5 and it works well.

they had the heat mat thermostat i wanted however..

one of my seed orders came in as well and that order contains: sweet chocolate bell pepper, yellow habenero, white habenero and the chocolate habenero. i would have ordered the red habenero but the didn't have anymore in stock at the time - but i will get them yet. right now just awaiting for my other order to come in.

Welcome To Ruffsta's Garden!

Welcome to my garden blog!

I have deleted all previous blog postings so I could start a new blog for this year's garden. It's still a little early to start my seeds indoors, but I am taking orders if anyone would like seeds or starter plants.

I have a nice order prepared to order from WWW.PARKSEED.COM very soon! some of the seed items are: Brussels Sprouts, Sangria Peeper and Ladybug Cherry Tomatoes.

Eventually, I would like to get a seed heat mat and thermostat.. It would help me germinate my seeds during cold times. Maybe when I get taxes done...

I'll be updating my seed lists within a few days.. Stay tuned for that!

UPDATE: I just updated my "Currently Testing" section on the right, it is now up to date again. Currently I am testing TOMILLIOS, it's something new that I just had to test out.
